Just wondered if there was a chance to be able to use it with KS4 on Mac?
cheers
You can use it, but the plugin is not yet supported.
how can I use it on Mac if it is not yet supported?
You will have to use HDR Light Studio and load the HDRIs manually.
jh, yes, sure.
thank you, Thomas.
I would love to see the HDR Light Studio plugin for MacOSX. Please. You have it on the PC side and I am sure it makes for a great partner. I do have KS4 Pro and appreciate the development of the Environment Editor in this edition, but still, you did it for the PC guys. I'm always reading about how great HDRIs can push the process into the level of excellence to compliment a well produced imported model. For now we will have to use as stand alone and import. Still... Keyshot Rocks.
+1
+2 We definitely need HDR light studio compatibility with Keyshot 4. Or at least KS to have a function of light painting like HDR light studio. Thomas, what is the reason the mac doesn't have compatibility??
Resources and priorities, to be honest. We will get to it soon.
If you are running KeyShot Pro, you can use the KeyShot HDR Editor which allows you to set a highlight by clicking onto the model.
Ok Thomas we are 4 months on from when you said you would get around to it. Any closer?
Not any time soon Saloff that I am aware of ... I can't say anymore than that
Martin
Bump +100
Keyshots built in editor is way to simple (but a huge leap forward). Please please implement HDRI Light Studio or make the built in one more powerful. The ability to deform, soften and, above all use picture lights would make Keyshot close to perfect!!
Yes, yes, I am also on board with this request. :D
+1 would be great using HDR Light Studio directly on Keyshot for mac
Maybe in 5.0?
If you are running KeyShot Pro, you can use the KeyShot HDR Editor which allows you to set a highlight by clicking onto the model. Can you explain in a little more detail? Thanks!
I haven't tried that yet. Didn't know it could do that. Thought it was a feature why folks did want HDR LS to work on Mac .. for that very reason. I'll have to try that tomorrow.
Just wanted to add my two cents:
I just bought HDR Light studio just to find out that there is still no KeyShot integration on the mac.
Sure, the Editor in Keyshot Pro does create interesting results - but I find it a little bit sad that a promise made almost a year ago still has not been implemented.
So I as well would love to see tighter Keyshot integration on the mac.
Just wasted 300 BPounds.....
Dieter
I can't see where a promise was made other than saying that we will get to it "soon". You can always load your HDRIs manually.
Here's another vote for HDR Light Studio integration on the Mac side.
That software is the only reason I have a Windows partition on my Mac.
It would be a great convenience to be able to use HDRLS where I do most of my work without a reboot.
Thanks for listening.

Just a question: as more than 18 Months have passed since the statement that Mac Integration of HDR Light Studio will be available "soon" I would like to know I the plans to integrate via plugin on the mac platform have been dropped or postponed until 2020.
Any information (except "you can load HDRI images manually")?
Best regards,
Dieter
The plans have been dropped. We are focusing on the integrated HDR editor in KeyShot.
This is extremely disappointing.
Is this a resource issue or a competitive move?
It is due to actions from Lightmap that caused us to cease the development.
