Try this:

Select diamond render layer and then:
Layer > Matting > Defringe... > Width = 1 pixels
Try 1 pixel first. If you still see an outline, then try 2 pixels...

I guess the outline is an artifact from masking the objects out. I think they are less obvious when you render at higher resolution...

That's because you imported the diamonds on top as a 'Smart Object' in Photoshop. :P

Try this:
Select the layer with diamonds (smart object) and then:
Layer > Smart Objects > Rasterize
Now 'matting' should become available!
