Title: Certain 'blocks' are not rendering in some frames.
Post by: Namssorg on May 28, 2013, 07:49:01 AM
I am trying to render a 360 turntable of this Tucker. From some angles, certain 'blocks' do not render, or just appear black, as pictured below.  Usually this happens in areas with lots of vents or perforations.  I've noticed it can happen on still renderings as well as animations.

Artifacts on the vents

No artifacts occur from a slightly different angle.

It seems to only happen at certain angles.
Here's a video of what I'm seeing in a 1080p turntable:   http://screencast.com/t/5ZmUwqSHe (http://screencast.com/t/5ZmUwqSHe)

Any ideas?  It's not a big deal in the still images, but when these little blocks are appearing in half of the frames rendered, it becomes very distracting.

Try to increase the anti aliasing level.
