Title: Render Lighting Suggestions
Post by: colt45 on June 08, 2013, 08:08:00 PM
Hello Everyone!

I'm currently working on making some blank soda can renders (just aluminum material on white background). I tried with HDR Light Studio, but the results don't look entirely realistic, lighting suggestions would be nice!

Cheers, guys!

It would help if you showed what you've got so far and also an idea of what you want ideally...

Hi Metal Master!

Thanks for answering, these are my "best"results (attached) after numerous attempts. I can't emulate a credible lighting on the Can, my first issue is global illumination because the object looks bit darker of what I want (Attempt1).  The second one is the upper soda can area, on the Pepsi can the light has a twist effect but its to hard to achieve. Maybe my soda can does not have to be exactly like the Pepsi lighting but it have to give some "realism".

Cheers!
