Title: Transparent Tooned Material
Post by: chasewarner2 on July 10, 2013, 05:27:34 PM
Hi I was wondering if it is possible to make a tooned material transparent but still retain the black outlines?? I am working on a car model and need to show the suspension that is behind the wheel and tire but still keep the tire and wheel in its place. The idea is to keep it looking like a line drawing.

Thanks, Chase

Actually I just figured it out. I created a transparent png in photoshop then added that to a opacity texture. It did exactly what I needed it to.

Thanks for the quick response though, Chase

Yes - that works too. There are some predefined Toon materials like that in the library.
