Well, we're all waiting for the insane animation!  Which begs the question- a single light source in the ball with lenses and caustics?  Or separate lamps?  Emissive or IES?  "Inquiring minds want to know"!

Indeed 'color gel'  lenses and focus caustics enabled.

Also, I made the interior surface of the 'viral ball' matte black. Making it white would scatter the light all over the place, thus generating a massive swarm of fireflies. :)
