Title: How do I Pan with no Middle mouse button on my laptop??????

On a mac I believe it's ctrl + alt + LMB. Sorry I don't know about windows.

My advice is just to try everything and jot it down on good old post it notes

So many cad program's on the market and not one of them seems to use the same keys/buttons to manoeuvre the camera.... it gets tiring, I sympathise with your frustration.

Don't know if this will work, but try pressing left and right buttons simultaneously.

On the Mac Shift + CTRL + ALT LMB will work.

On Windows, there is no such thing. But with CTRL + ALT RMB you can set the pivot point and center the object that way. This may help.
