Title: Moving objects around becomes super slow.
Post by: 9thoracle on August 09, 2013, 09:05:57 PM
WHY WHY WHY!?!?!? I open an assembly and i start to move parts around. For some reason, and I dont know if it has to do with the fact I am duplicating a small part or not, but all of a sudden when i move components around I have to move my mouse WAYYYYY further to move the items.

This is one of the MOST annoying things about the program and I have no idea how to fix it. Anyone have any ideas what the problem is?

I have found that if I right click on the item and do a look at I'm able to move normally again.

Hi, Ive been experiencing the same problem, the trick is to increase the scale of the whole model. Evidently the amount you want to move a part must be done via measurement and not ratio, unless there are drastically mixed dimensions within the model.

Hope this helps.
