I was really impressed with the "House Rendering" by KAKiii, and his interior lighting, which I presume was done with various emmissives. So I decided to play with "Emmissives" in KS2.
This scene was lit almost entirely with emmissives. The HDR (auto studio dark) was turned almost off. There is light applied to the lamp bulb, the light shade interior (at less brightness) and to the "ceiling".
The set piece is also shown. The huge texture is from a stone material for a different rendering. It does not show in the rendering. I prefer the brick.
Lot's to learn yet with KS2! Heading off to SIGGRAPH, and hopefully link up with the Luxion team.

I would be interested to see the scene with only that lamp on. I feel like the uniform lighting from your big emmissive panel is wrong for that scene, removes all the drama. You definitely proved that emmissive lighting will work -
