Title: Tile texture distortion

I am using a repeating tile texture with box projection. It works fine on the curved surface but where the model becomes flat on the end the texture becomes distorted (right side of image) which is unacceptable. Any ideas?

Hi Jeff - when you have a change in contour like that, it may get a little tougher to map. Maybe try changing the surface color of the curved or flat surface before exporting? Then you will have separate mapping control over the two surfaces. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried it but it made no difference as you can see here.
