Title: Grave
Post by: irds on November 02, 2013, 02:23:40 AM
Grave is not a very original idea to come up with for a halloween, isn't it? Nevertheless, it should work with proper lighting and detail.

Since I've got not much time for modeling I've decided to go with something which would look real with minimum effort: plastic skeleton figure and some papercraft. Here's where you should really admire my creativity. A skeleton! Man, who else could have ever come up with this! I've decided to make skeleton with rotating and detachable parts, so I could pose few of them or break them apart and  put bones and skulls everywhere. Being lazy sometimes pays off well, I guess.

No sketches and design since deadline is so close, everything being done on-the-fly,  hopefully Keyshot will let me do this and bring everything to life without going back and forth. Here's some early test.

Thanks and good luck everyone, guys!

Almost ready, but still no rig for posing and I'm gonna redo the pelvis.

Dropped papercraft idea and switched to plastic, unfortunately.
