Title: Environment Rotation Jumps to 45
Post by: m2tts on November 15, 2013, 06:58:21 AM
I'm trying to run an animation, but my environment will not stay rotated where I put it. As soon as I start rendering it jumps to a rotation of 45 degrees. What is broken here? I am not animating the environment.

Are you using a viewset?
I assume you're using 4.2.35?

Yes it is a viewset. Looks like the bip came from our Pro license machine which has the option to save viewsets as well as cameras. Didn't know that. Thats a great feature I wish the standard version was capable of.

Hm, wonder if that's the issue then (going from Pro to Basic)... So, the issue is happening on the basic version? Does the same thing happen with the Pro version?

Yes the same thing happens in the pro version. Though that's what it's supposed to do isn't it? Saving the viewpoint is saving the environment HDRI and it's rotation along with the camera view. I had not known about being able to save viewpoints, but our intern does, and that's what he did. I was able to solve it on my standard version by creating a new camera and using that.
