Title: Material behaves different with plugin and import
Post by: rfollett on February 18, 2014, 01:15:04 AM
I have noticed that if I work with plugin in Rhino the material seems ok, in this case a liquid.

if I save the rhino file and then open KS and do import the liquid material seems washed out and even if I apply colour it does not change.

Are there any known issues that you know about in this area?

You will see via the plugin the dark liquid material works well.

Then I open KS and import same Rhino file, apply same material and it is much lighter.

The difference is that you do the direct import using "automatic" when it comes to scale. The plugin always uses "Keep Original". If you select "Keep Original" in the import dialog when doing a direct import, then it will be identical.
