Title: Applying same graphic (label) to many surfaces
Post by: Blaine4 on April 01, 2014, 11:31:51 PM
Hello everyone.

I'm rendering drink vending machines and applying the same bottle label to all the drinks in the machine.  It's taking me an entire day to apply these labels individually, so I'm assuming there must be a faster way.  What am I missing??

Don't get me wrong, I love billing for these hours, but I have a boss who's furious...

I assume all the bottles are the same.

Apply the label to the first bottle, and then save the material to the library. Then select all bottles in the scene tree, and drag and drop the newly saved material onto the selection set. Done.

Hey Thomas,

Thanks so much! I look forward to trying this procedure this afternoon on another rendering.  Will Keyshot automatically position/scale the labels to the same specifications as was done in the first procedure, or will I need to reposition each of the new labels?

Assuming that the geometry is the same it should just apply it in the correct position.
