Title: Labels questions
Post by: vanka on September 18, 2010, 03:28:53 AM
I've started to work with labels and have some questions:

1. I can't understand the meaning of Intensity and Depth parameters. I can't see any changes using them. What are they for?

2. Can I change material of an object and leave the label of a previous material?
I tried dragging material on object, so material changes, but label disappears (though it remains in Labels tab)

@1. Intensity changes the brightness. Depth controls the projection depth, i.e. how many surfaces the labels should hit when it is applied to a surface. You can see this best when using glass.

@2. When you change the material, the textures, bumpmap, and label stay behind, but need to be enabled if you want to use them.

No! I tried many times - no chance.

When I change material - no labels remain in material properties!

Can you check it or explain what am I doing wrong?

In attach you can find model and 2 labels. They are placed on the top of the table.
