Title: Animated Hair Dryer
Post by: MisterNeil on September 22, 2014, 10:18:09 AM
Hello,

I just completed my latest 3D project: an animated hair dryer. I rendered the model in KeyShot and my colleague assembled the frames in After Effects.

You can review the hair dryer in action at the following website. Press the buttons labeled "Intro, Quick, Quiet, Quality" or move the up/down scroll bars for product details.

That's pretty slick Neil.

I'm curious about the technology to animate it on the website.  You mentioned the frames were brought into After Effects, so is the animation via HTML5 video?
Or is some other method used?

Hi Ed,

I don't know the specifics, but I was told the frames were animated with HTML 5 and Javascript code.

Great example of using the frames rendered out of KeyShot. Well done!

That looks great, with an animated effect.
