May I ask how you made the LED display? By emissive material under transparent black acrylic or just label on top of plastic?

A bit OT, but my Dads been around a long time (55 years old now) and he says the perfect shave has been claimed many times by the usual suspects. Apparently the shaver manufacturers use very similar tactics from generation to generation. It seems we are all mugs for clever marketing. ;)
