Title: SolidWorks Plugin Updating Assembly
Post by: m2tts on December 02, 2014, 11:18:15 AM
I have a rather large assembly and only one part has changed that I want to update. When I say "update" the entire assembly is being sent back over instead of just the changed part. I've tried isolating the part in the assembly and then live linking, but then only that part goes over and the rest of the assembly has disappeared in Keyshot. I've also tried highlighting the part I want to update and then hitting "update", but still the entire assembly is going over again. A real time waster. This is not how I remember Live Linking working.

I assume you are experiencing this with the latest plugin we posted?

Must be, cause I just installed it today. I'm running Keyshot 5.1, SW 2014 sp5.0 and WIN 8.1 via bootcamp on a 15" retina MBP.

Any word on this behavior? Is this expected? As it is, the assembly renders faster than it updates.

We are still looking in it.
