Title: Correct type for normal maps - OpenGL or DirectX?

I´m wondering which type of normal map Keyshot prefers. Many programs offer the ability to choose between OpenGL or DirectX output mode when creating normal maps. Is there a noticable difference or is one even unsuited?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated
