I'd like to create a series of renderings with a specified size and resolution but the image output resolution doesn't seem correct.
Specified image size : 170 x 95 mm - 2008 x 1122 px 300 dpi RGB
17 x 9.5 cm results in 17.0011 x 9.56157 and 2008 x 1122 px results in 2008 x 1129 px. Can I create renderings using the specified image size and resolution, if so, can someone instruct how?
KeyShot 5.1.66
Justin,
In the settings tab make sure lock aspect and lock resolution are unchecked, type in 2008x1122 to the resolution input, and check lock aspect. Now you should be able to type in the same resolution to the render output settings. If this value is still off by 1 or 2 pixels you will have to lock the realtime resolution at 2008x1122 when sending your renders through.
Hope this helps.

It will import to Photoshop at 72 dpi. No matter- just Resize Image to 300 dpi, but with Resample unchecked.

What do you do when KeyShot itself adjusts the numbers and inserts its own settings.
You type one number, KeyShot adjusts the other
In other word unless you are doing a landscape or 1x1 you cannot do a portrait aspect
This is with boxes unchecked!!!!
Yes you can. Just make sure that your realtime window fits onto the screen properly. Rather than displaying it at full resolution type in a resolution that is smaller but maintains the aspect ratio.

Can you elaborate on this a tad?
Real time window fits the screen properly?
Not meaning to be dense but a more elaborate explanation would be of enormous help.
Pertains to problem in another thread
Thank you
