Title: 2 bump textures on a tube...
Post by: Finema on January 16, 2015, 11:39:33 PM
Hi,
I'm new on Keyshot and i need to put 2 bump text on a same object.
I've a tube and i would like to place a text on the facing cylinder and an other bump text on the top.
On C4D, i can use multiple textures on a same model.
What's the way to do that on keyshot 5 ?
I know I can map multiple labels but textures ?
Must i duplicate or separate object or create skins to map it ?
Thanks

Finema,

Welcome to KeyShot! For now you can only apply 1 bump per material. I suggest you separate the surfaces of the cylinder so you can apply a different bump texture to each.

Since it is not possible to stack multiple bump maps, is it possible to export a procedurally generated bump map? That would allow manually adding the two together.
