Title: Importing Solidworks Assembly Mechanism/Pivots into Keyshot
Post by: larryzzzz on January 21, 2015, 11:43:06 AM
Is there a method for importing a SolidWorks assembly into Keyshot and retain the mechanism/pivots for animation output?

I'm using Solidworks 2015 and Keyshot 5 Pro.

Thanks,

Larry

Yeah, I have a fun but complex hot rod steering linkage that would sure be fun to animate.  It's in ProE, but we don't have the mechanica/animation package to create the animation.  That would transfer, correct?  In the meantime, SolidWorks is really nice for setting up and manipulating linkages like this in real time.  It'd sure be nice if you could translate that "rigging" somehow over to KeyShot.
