Title: NEWBIE - Keyshot not updating Creo views
Post by: whcraft on February 12, 2015, 05:23:27 AM
I am using Keyshot 5.1 Pro and Creo 2.0 with the plug-in.  The issue I have is that Keyshot will only show one change from the Creo model.
I make the first change to the Creo model, hit update and all is well.  It will not update the view of a second change.  I have double-checked and live-link is enabled.  I'm still new to Keyshot so I am not sure if I have missed another setting somewhere.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey whcraft,

What version of the plugin are you running? The latest is 3.3.

not really sure where to find that info.  I down-loaded it from the Keyshot site a few weeks ago...

it is 3.3.  I am still trying to refine my work-flow and I hid a part in the Creo model and it was hidden in the Keyshot image.  When I unhid the Creo part
it would not unhide in the Keyshot image.  I guess that is something best handled inside of Keyshot.  It still kind of bugs me as to why it will not update a second time.

It's hard to say why it didn't update the second time. Working fine on my end. Try updating the part manually (option under the plugin's "Settings" button).

I figured out how to get it to update the second time.  For some reason the 'manual' under the update will not check but Creo asks me to choose one or more parts to update so it works out that way.  It is just a pain trying to find the part in the assembly listed in the model tree for parts I've hidden.  With some of the assemblies I am working with it's more of a model forest.  Thanks for the help
