Do you have the NX plugin for KeyShot? https://www.keyshot.com/resources/downloads/plugins/

If you do and you created an animation in NX of the scissor lift going up and down the plugin should be able to send that to KS (don't take my word, I'm not an NX user).
If that route doesn't work, can you export an alembic (.abc) from NX?

does color works?
I am exporting form Siemens NX and I use color of material to identify what material to add in Keyshot. Also I use model sets for variants and I add new parts in to same model so I can just apply materials I already have.

I saw beautiful renders done in Blender, but learning curve, for me, was close to flat line for first few weeks. In Keyshot I got first good render in same day I installed it.

How to "connect" model sets in turntable animation so all are rotating around same point, or how to define same rotation point for different model sets?
Options I have are center of rotation to be model, and then each model set is rotating around it own center, or center of rotation environment, but then model is rotating around some point that I can't find out how to define?

If I understood you good, you suggest me to check if animation form CAD can be transferred to Keyshot?
I do not have animation in NX, but I want to know if there is a way to transfer joints and other constrains behavior to Keyshot so if I move top of the lift in Keyshot all connected (constrained in NX) parts will move in Keyshot?

I use to use Maxwell for years, but our studio switched to keyshot about 12 years ago.  KS is easy to teach and everyone's results are fairly consistent.  However, I do miss Maxwell for realism - it always looks real - a good real or a horrible realism depending on what you do, but physics were always 99% correct.
Keyshot is fast and forces you to learn a lot of "hacks". KS saves time though!!!, but has limitations - as does every program.

Yes, depending on your CAD software. If you use the KeyShot plugin to send your files to KeyShot, check to see if it supports animations.

+1 for SOME sort of image resolution/aspect ratio control. I'm still scratching my head at the fact that Studios don't already have the ability to manage this...

Light linking, allow certain lights to only affect certain models/materials.

Have the ability to attach a resolution to a camera so you can have multiple resolutions in the same file.
