Hi,

I can't show the full image on here right now, but I keep getting these black dots on my backplate image. Why is this? I used this same backplate yesterday in a different rendering and didnt have any trouble with it.

The back plate was made by rendering some lofted surfaces in keyshot with the xray material. I then used the rendered jpeg as a backplate in my full rendering. These dots don't show up on the model, only the background. They do change shape and spacing depending on the render settings.

I attached a crop image of the dots and the full image of the background: http://imgur.com/a/dr5Cj

If you start a new project in KeyShot, then load in just this backplate, do you see the issue? Or is it only happening with one specific scene?

If you switch to another backplate in this problem scene, does the issue remain?

I'll try that.

It doesn't happen if I render as a tif. Only seemed to happen with jpeg

Hello. What I'm doing wrong? What I need to do in settings to get rid of this black spots in final render?

What kind of CAD file was this imported as? Are you on an AMD machine?
