I have one object in a complicated setting that just has an awkward pivot point, was off angle upon import, etc, making it very tough to manipulate for placement and animation.  Ive straightened it out but its origin is still kind of messed up. Is there a way to "zero" the object, such that it brings all its coordinates data, angle information to 0?

Thanks

Hit "reset" in the position tab in the scene tree?

The reset button brings everything back to its original position.  I'm looking to set the current position as the zero; same function as the zero button on a pair of digital calipers.

+1 being able to change an objects point of rotation would be quite helpful sometimes
