Hey everyone!

today i finished these renderings and i thought i might share them here as well.

The drill itself was modeled in Rhinoceros and the water was made in blender.
Lighting is 100% HDRI. Textures are selfmade or via poliigon.

Postprocessing was done in Lightroom as usual.

Rendered @ 1440p with 1000 samples on my Threadripper 1950X system.

More details about the project can be found on my behance: https://www.behance.net/gallery/64672321/Nautilus

pretty cool renders, what is the story behind the water?

It's really gorgeous stuff Alexander. Hot/cold lighting is always a winner!

Thanks Magnus! And yes - indeed. I tuned down the saturation of my warm light a ton in post but just a little make all the difference.

Thanks! It's one of the build in mold tech materials. Just a bit modified.
