I recently spent some time going through the Keyshot Quick Tips videos, and thought I'd try updating an old .bip file of a rugged laptop with some of the new tricks I learned.  I wanted to test out an ambient occlusion pass, working with a depth pass, and some of the procedural texturing tricks.

Here's the new shot, and an old one for comparison's sake.  Really happy with how this turned out! Amazing what a few extra tricks in the bag can achieve.  Of course, props go to the original designers for providing such a cool object to test out rendering tricks on  ;D

Those little extra touches make a massive difference don't they :P

When I revisit an old project, especially back to 2008 or so, I'm absolutely astounded at the improvements in such a short time!  As they say "We're in good hands with KeyShot"!
