Cmd-click selects objects

Cmd-click-drag in the preview area normally change the rotation of the environment. However in V6 in addition it selects whatever object is in the click area as well. Is this a bug?

Since nobody seems to answer I wonder if this is the right place to report a bug? If there is a better way I'll be happy to do it.
