In my opinion, It's just too busy Mohammed. Everything is fighting for attention, there are just too many patterns and shapes all at once...the dead rodent wallpaper or whatever it is is the main culprit though, if that wall was plain, it wouldn't be so bad. Plus, my eye is being drawn to the over exposed ring of stones on the left.

Saying that, I do like the overall layout and the shadow play across the sofa
