Scenes import/camera position

Is there a trick to getting scenes to import correctly via the Sketchup-plugin?
Scene names aren't updated via live linking, axis seem to be off, there is no updates for focal view. What am I missing?
I haven't been able to get one camera position to match what I see in Keyshot ever. I always end up handling the camera positions in Keyshot. In some situations it would be good to use Sketchup camera positions though. Anyone know how to do it properly?

Do you mind mentioning which versions of Sketchup and KeyShot you're running?

Sure Will, I use Keyshot Pro 7.1 and Sketchup Pro 2017 17.3.116.
Any suggestion is welcome.
