Live Linking after save and close?

Hello,

If you create a KS 7 model with the Creo 4 plugin, can you relink your Creo and KS models after you close both files and reopen them later? 

I reopened both my Creo and KS models (same file names, different extensions).  Modified the Creo model and used the Creo/KS plugin Update button and it just opens a new model in a new KS window.  It acts the same as using the Render button.  I'm not sure if I'm using this correctly.

I do not use the render feature from the creo plugin. Instead I use the export as bip. Then import this in any scene. So I can use the update option by re-import if necessary.

I think I just had a bad model and my Live Linking connection was broken.  Live Linking is working correctly now.
