Live linking Rhino5 OS and KS7 [not updating]

Hi. I am trying to use live linking with Rhino 5 for OS.

I am following manual instructions, but every time I want to update a change...a new KS 7 opens...

How can I get my updates within the same scenario/file opened.

Another question is ...what will happend when I shut down my computer...Will it be linked once I turn it on again and open my rhino and KS session ?
