Color Gradient Doesn't Update - KS v8.1.61

I am using two labels to apply a striped color band to a model. I use the sliders to locate the colors I want and the realtime view updates accordingly. But when I key in Location values for precise placement, to get the sliders closer than I can with the pointers, only the location of the sliders update - the realtime view does not update.
The sliders also need to have some sort of collision avoidance so when they are close together they will automatically offset from each other so the can still be selected without picking the wrong slider.
Using HP Laptop with i7-4710HQ @2.50 GHz and 12GB 2.50 GHz Installed Memory
Windows 10 vers. 1809 64 bit OS

Update from Support - "seems to be a bug." Hopefully it will be fixed in an upcoming update.
