Solidworks assemblies still failing to import

i have just checked both solidworks and keyshot is up to date. i have also downloaded and installed the new SW plug in.
...but i still have problems importing the most simplest parts..really annoying as we just outlayed a tone of cash for Solidworks and now we have to convert to Step every time we want to render/test render

what gives? some parts import and some dont.

Please upgrade to the latest version (2.3 - links here on the forum). We started support SolidWorks 2011 in KeyShot 2.2.

Make sure that the SW option to save tessellation data is checked when saving assemblies and parts. This is the data that Keyshot reads, and yes, it does make your SW's files larger.
