- Next Upgrade?  eGPU - I'd like to offload the longer renderings an animations to an eGPU, so I'm investigating hacks, patches, and/or Windows bootcamp interface with a Razer Core box and Nvidia cards.  Any tips?

From a photographer our company uses in San Francisco:

"My buddy just replaced his old MacPro with a 16 and also got an external eGPU.  He says the eGPU makes a huge difference"

Is he using KeyShot with his eGPU?  Would he be willing to share specs on his set-up?

I don't think any eGPUs available for Mac work with Keyshot. Keyshot GPU rendering code was written specifically for Nvidia RTX and Nvidia has no drivers for Mac.

FPS were jumping around between 140 and 160 so I'm gonna call it 150. This is a fully maxed out 2019 16" MBP.

Hey there, I just got the MBP 16" but it's the 2.3 i9 with 16gb RAM and 5500m 4GB. I was wondering how you tested FPS in Keyshot. Obviously when there's no movement the FPS is going to be low so I'm wondering what exactly you did you test it and report ~150 fps? I hope my question makes sense.

UPDATE: I ran the benchmark and got a score of 1.58
