Mercedes 300SL pre-render. Looking for some input

Im having a difficult time getting the "meat" of the color in this car to come out. I would like more depth to it, and to get more contrast in the wheel and highlight areas. Also any suggestions for what I should do with the tail lights as far as texture/color?
