Show unread posts since last visit - what's the trick?

Does "Show unread posts since last visit." work for anyone? It doesn't for me. Every morning I log on and click it an it says no unread posts. Then I look at the
message board and I see a number of posts since my last visit. Is there something else that need to be done?

Doesn't work for me either. It did for a while and then it stopped.

it does work and has always for me at work ... at home however, it never has ... what's the secret ?

however still ... "show new replies to your posts" does work from home & work.

the "show unread posts" is a very handy thing which I love to use at work in the morning.

it's been working for me at home and work. No issues. It's the only way I view the forum..

I have the link to the forum bookmarked. When I use the bookmark, my login info is saved and all I do is have to hit "login". Then "show unread posts ..." works every time.

Must have something to do with IE i think.  I have not the forum, but the "show new posts" link/page bookmarked with auto login.
