What is subscription?

I'm in the process of upgrading Keyshot and noticed on the web form an option to add subscription. So what do you actually get for subscription? Does it include all software upgrades for 12 months, or is it something else?

You get all full releases during the calendar year, as well as phone support and direct access to our support team when needed.
