I noticed this issue a while back. I have simple planes for emissive materials. I have visible to camera off and 2 sided off.

I get different results if I show plane from above and below - From above the plane is still visible - surely this is not correct?

The plane itself... This also happened in 4.3 - I logged the issue back then.

I appreciate that - is that how it has been designed ?

If I was one sided and invisible then this is not possible when viewed from above?

Thanks for your help - I appreciate this might seem like a small issue but I am just trying to understand functionality

It's not so much how KS is designed but more along the lines of how polygons work. Polygons have face normals, each normal has a front and back so even if you say two sides off, you are just saying don't use both sides, just use one side instead. I assume that by still using one side that it overrides the invisibility as you are requesting one side to remain active.
