Just for grins!  Saw some amazing photos of Mars from the new rover Discovery, and just had to use them.  My old "Steampunk" SolidWorks models you've seen before, but they take on a new meaning now that KeyShot has gone intersteller in popularity!   Dome created in HDR Light Studio Pro.

Oops!  Yep, it's "Curiosity", not "Discovery".  Should have channeled Ray Bradbury first and asked him!   What a great mind!  I worked with him when he did The Martian Chronicles as a play back in the late 1960's, at the Coronet Theatre in Hollywood.  Three one-acts; The Martian Chronicles, The Veldt and The Pedestrian.  The latter was a very scary and portentous statement on society, especially applicable today.

Bill,
This is sweet ! Love that white plastic material you have on the second image.
Some of your best work fitting the model into the background. Feels like it there.
Thanks for sharing !

Thanks for the complements, biomechanic!  I used the KeyShot "Iceland" HDR, with a few warm lamps added in the KeyShot HDR Editor to warm it up and help develop the forms.
