labels around corners

I'm trying to wrap a label around the corner on a box.  What would be the best texture mapping scheme for this?  I've tried box mapping, but that doesn't seem to work.  Planar or UV mapping is even worse; when the label turns the corner, only long lines get projected along the surface that is orthogonal to the first face.

Has anyone found a way around this?

It may be best to use 2 separate labels for this.
