Hej community,

I'm a beginner in keyshot, only doing some product renderings as a technical salesman... Now I came across a pretty advanced problem: I would like to render a piece where liquid metal takes the centerpart of the picture, and with liquid metal I don't talk about that mercury stuff that can be found all over the internet, but of hot glowing (1250°C) liquid iron/steel.

Can anyone help me with how to develop materials that properly depict that?

Many thanks in advance!

PS.: Maybe this question would have better posted in "Technical Discussions"...

This should be achievable through the procedural materials in KS5 - The problem arises from the need of a decent glow and volumetrics which would need the image manipulation program of your choice.

Mh. We still use KS4.1 in our company. The glow effects of the emmissive material is a bit meek...

Thank you for the tips though!
