Juist updated to 5.0.99 and I'm gettign a repeatable bug in all files in 5.0.99 that crashes Keyshot.

All I have to do is click on the Colours tab in the Library and keyshot bombs every time.
EDIT - also happens when you click favourites.

Windows 7. Was working fine earlier in the previous version.

EDIT - I have done a complete uninstall/reinstall now and get the same issue. Is there a way to install an older version or do I have to a complete reinstall again?

EDIT - ARGHH!!! I have now uninstalled and reinstalled the earlier version and it now bombs when clicking Colours and Favourites.

Is this happening to anyone else?

Rex

Hey quigley,

It's working fine for me.

Can you check to make sure your KeyShot Resources folder has full read/write permissions? Do you have it saved to the default location?

If anyone else is having this issue try this:

Hello Kevin,

Please try this:

1. Go to Edit/Keyshot > Preferences > Folders. Make sure "Specify location for all folders" is selected and that the pathname points to the KeyShot 4 resources folder. This is usually found inside you Documents (Windows) or Application Support (Mac) folder.

Ours were set to customize each folder and pointing to the correct folder locations inside the main Keyshot 5 folder. Changing to the option above sorted things.

Bit strange and most likely a bug, but sorted!

Rex

Glad to hear you got it sorted!
