normal map issue

heey guys i am rendering my car in keyshot 5 (trial) But if i render it it always gave me like weird normal maps like this http://gyazo.com/06270c4dded88087329acab4e16e40a0

How can i fix this

I'm having similar problems with an automotive render. But it only shows up on some angles.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be awesome.

Are both of you exporting from 3DS Max, by any chance?

nope from maya 2013. but i fixed some of the issues.

@thepope its your normal map doing that so u need to clean it up

sorry to distract from your OP but how do I clean up the normal map. I'm just given the .3ds file from someone and asked to bring it to life. And the problem doesn't seem to be on import. It only shows up once I begin assigning materials
