losing my color schemes when I import

Im losing my color schemes when I import my model from SolidWorks.They are importing as a single part I can only apply one material. I did not have this issue with 4.3. I just upgraded tp 5.1 and can't get it to work right. I also can not import SW 2015 models at all.

SolidWorks 2015 is not supported yet.

I can't reproduce the issue - all colors are nicely preserved. Can you share the file so we can take a look?

Since you can't import a SW2015 file - are you importing a STEP or IGES file instead?

looking forward to a solution. going to check if I can open in KS4 save then reopen in KS5 see if that works for now.

its not ideal but opening in KS4 saving and reopening in KS5 works. Good thing I had KS4.
