Keyshot 3 crashing after iMac replacement

Just trying to get some insights on a problem. Originally downloaded Keyshot from online to install. I had Keyshot 3 working fine on a 5 y/o iMac, then used Time Machine to transfer and upgrade to a newer iMac model, same operating system (OS X 10.10.5), etc.. on both rigs. After transfer to newer model Keyshot isn't working. Program Icon in applications folder is now generic and not specific to Keyshot. Existing BIP files crash when opening. Can't open the program directly.

Don't need to upgrade since Keyshot 3 version does everything the company needs it to do. Any help would be appreciated.

Could be a permissions issue.

I had issues with a recent TM backup/restore. I had to deactivate my licence then reapply it and from there on it worked fine. However I went from 10.10.5 backup to an El Capitan 10.11 restoration, so it might well behave differently in your case.
