We have one user who was using Keyshot fine and then suddenly he cannot apply materials to images in KS.  This does not work with default included images in the program.  It will fail immediately with this error:

It will also not allow importing.

We have uninstalled/re-installed.  Completely wiped/re-imaged computer.  Have tried updating Graphics drivers and rolling back graphics drivers.  All with no joy.

If I take him back to Version 5.0.99, the program will work fine.

We have other identical machines running the 5.3.6 software without issue.  We have other machines with different configurations running the software fine.

Given that it happens with basic Keyshot images, this seems to be an issue directly with Keyshot.

This seems to be similar to an issue reported here, but with no fix: https://www.keyshot.com/forum/index.php?topic=10307.0

We are not sure what else to try???  Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

[EDIT]  Running Windows 7 64bit

Keyshot found a fix.  This was running on a Dell T7810 and it seems there is some conflict with Dell Backup and Recovery software.  We do not use that, so we removed it and Keyshot now works.  Go figure....
