Hi,

This may be sort of an odd request... ::)

I acquired a network rendering license on the latest Cyber Monday deals. I was wondering now if I could use it to submit render jobs from a remote workstation. Thus from a system not within the LAN where my network rendering setup is running, entirely over the internet.

I think I have nailed the network setup.
I'm now looking for someone willing to submit a render job to my network rendering queue from his/her own workstation. ;)

So...
Do you have network rendering installed?
Are you willing to run it in Queue only mode for a while?
Are you willing to connect to my network queue?

If interested, drop me a PM and I'll send you the details. ;)

Hi Thomas,

It seems to be working. :)
I'll check with Brandon if my setup can possibly be improved.

For anyone interested in accessing a remote network rendering queue, I can definnitely recommend going through the set-up.
If you're working from home and you want to submit jobs to the network queue in the office, then this is the perfect solution. ;)

hi i was wondering what did you have to do for the remote rendering to work? did you have to open up a port on your router? how about dynamic IP?
