Transparency for labels isn't working... (again)

Hello,

I have Keyshot 6 (6.1.72 educational if that matters) running on a Mac (OS 10.10.5). I can't seem to get transparent labels (png, gif, tiff,etc) to import with transparency. It continues to add a white background even when there isn't one. I have set the image in reverse and added it as an opacity map as a workaround, but what happened? I didn't have to do this in 5. Is there a known bug, a new feature, a new setting?

oh and i say "again" because there were old threads that discuss this problem, but they are in older versions of keyshot. And... I think I have tried all of the workarounds listed for the older versions but still no luck.

It's not a bug.
Just your PNG Mode is Indexed Colors. You must change it to RVB Colors.
